Who We Are
At Tanglewood Design, we believe that a childhood fueled by wonder is the greatest gift a parent can provide. From our workshop in Salt Lake City, we engineer immersive environments that serve as the ultimate "brain gym," where unstructured, imaginative play builds the foundation for a lifetime of creativity and problem-solving.
Our Commitment
We understand that imagination best takes flight when a child (and his/her parents) feel safe. That we why we use NAF wood products, ultra-low VOC paints and primers in every build, and stress test everything we send out the door to make sure that you can feel secure in your child's playtime, and just enjoy the moments.
Meet the Owner
When I’m not in the shop covered in sawdust, I’m knee-deep in the chaos of life as a husband and a father to six incredible kids. My home is a living laboratory for exactly what we build at Tanglewood: a place where "quiet time" is a myth, and every hallway is a potential racetrack or a secret kingdom. Being surrounded by my own crew of professional "play experts" reminds me every day that the best part of childhood is the freedom to imagine, and I’ve made it my mission to build the backdrops for those memories—while ensuring they are safe enough for even my rowdiest explorers.
I’ve learned that a great dad is part engineer, part storyteller, and occasional referee, and I bring that same energy to every project we take on. Whether I'm designing a new world for a client or trying to figure out how to fit eight people into a single Friday movie night, I’m driven by the belief that family is life’s greatest adventure. I know that these aren’t just pieces of furniture—they are the settings for the bedtime stories, the rainy-day forts, and all the "remember when" moments that your family will cherish.
